About NHPP

 WHO WE ARE

Nordonia Hills Preschool Parents (NHPP) is a non-profit organization providing recreational and educational opportunities for families with one or more children under six years of age.

NHPP consists of 80-100 families residing in the Nordonia Hills area (Macedonia, Northfield, Northfield Center and Sagamore Hills).  We also welcome families from surrounding communities including Twinsburg, Brecksville, Hudson, Stow, Aurora, and Streetsboro.  Our members include parents who work full-time, part-time, and parents who stay home.  We invite parents to join NHPP at anytime throughout the school year, September through May.

OUR PURPOSE

Our goal is to enrich the lives of developing preschoolers and their families.  We provide opportunities and programs geared toward education, socialization, creativity, and relationship development.

WHAT WE DO

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS:  Since its inception in 1975, our group has gathered regularly for monthly meetings, field trips, holiday parties, picnics, adult social events, playgroups and more.

ANNUAL CONSIGNMENT SALE:  Each spring, our group organizes an “Everything Baby and Kids” consignment sale as its annual fundraiser.  It is always a fun-filled event where members may sell gently used children’s clothing, baby items, toys, and more.

COMMUNITY SERVICE:  We also participate in many community service projects for local families in need.  Once such group we currenlty work with is H.M. Life Opportunity Services of Summit County.
